Page length depends on several factors including the required citation style, paragraph spacing, font size, etc. Average number of words on a page is 250-350.
If you use size 12 Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins, and double spacing, your paper will take 3 – 3.5 pages.

1000 words, Arial font, 12 font size, single spacing = 2.2 pages
1000 words, Arial font, 12 font size, 1.5 spacing = 2.8 pages
1000 words, Arial font, 12 font size, double spacing = 3.7 pages

If you need to know the total number of words in your Word document, look at the status bar at the bottom of the Word window.
If you don’t see the word count in the status bar, right-click the status bar, then and click Word Count.
Also you can see the number of words in Word Count dialog box.
The Word Count dialog box displays the number of pages, paragraphs, and lines in your document, and also the number of characters, either including or excluding spaces.
If you have Classic Menu for Microsoft Office:
On the Menus tab, click the Tools drop down menu and you will view the Word Count item.
If you don’t have Classic Menu for Office:
On the Review tab, in the Proofing group, click Word Count button:

A few things need to be taken into consideration. The margins you use, the spacing of words, the font size and font family. I have written essays for college and a 1000 word paper with a font of 12, 1 inch margins all around with double spacing is about 4 pages long. An instructor told me once that you can count on about 300-400 words per page when using APA formatting.
I hope this information is helpful.
