Read the book, then pick out 15 scenes YOU think are the most important ones with respect to the storyline of the book and explain why.
There may not be any given set of “correct” answers…it may be just an exercise in getting you to read into the story and pick out what’s important and why.
Talk to your teacher about this, if you have any more questions.

Ask your teacher for clarification. That seems like a lot of writing. If it has chapters, use them to divide the book up.
Also ask about the length of each summary.

In the novel I wrote, the important scenes were the character introductions, setting up the main character’s goal, introducing the main conflict that had to be dealt with, pushing the story forward, resolving the conflicts, and describing the aftermath. If you pick out the 15 most powerful scenes, you should be okay.

You copy the cliff notes, and then get suspended for plagiarism.

Briefly explain the highlights in the movie/book/play etc.

You really need to talk to your teacher and explain that you can’t understand your assignment so you can better prepare for your homework in the future.

Write 15 sentences.
One for each scene.
Telling what it was about.
